We are a boutique cycle studio built on love, sweat, and support! We are committed to helping you achieve your personal fitness goals!

We offer a variety of group indoor cycling classes geared to all fitness levels. All of our classes provide a high-energy, high-intensity workout in a friendly, supportive class setting. FitCycology also offers private classes with our professionally certified instructors.

Walks-ins are always welcome. Preregistration is recommended to reserve your spot in class. To book your ride, go to MindBody Online.


PRE-RIDE

Riding on an empty tank is not advised! We recommend that you hydrate with plenty of water and a light snack. Not sure what to wear? We suggest a tank or t-shirt and form-fitting shorts or pants.

SIGN IN

Before your first ride, you need to sign a waiver. You can print one out and bring it in or ask for one at the front desk. If you are under 18, you need one signed by a parent IN PERSON. Please arrive at the studio 10-15 minutes before your ride so we can give you a tour of the studio and help adjust your bike.

AMENITIES

At FitCycology, we provide you with a complimentary water bottle and snack, along with cubby space to park your gear! If you’re wearing cycle shoes, all our bikes are compatible with SPD shoes. Toiletries and hair ties are available as well, so if you’ve forgotten something, don’t sweat it! We likely have what you need!

RIDER SAFETY

Just as you would with any new exercise, please consult your doctor before starting an indoor cycling routine. Our rides offer a full body workout and a rigorous cardio experience, so make sure you listen to your body during class. Your FitCycology Instructor will help you achieve your personal best performance, but your safety comes first. If at any time during or after a class you feel any unusual symptoms, please notify us and/or seek medical attention.

OUR CYCLE CLASSES

Our indoor cycling classes utilize top-of-the-line SchwinnTM bikes and include aerobic and anaerobic intervals. Our instructors will guide you through high-intensity interval rides, set to ROCKING music, using cadence and baseline resistance metrics, while incorporating resistance and speed training, to ensure a consistent, challenging, and upbeat workout!

Janesa Calone

Janesa is a certified AFAA Cycling Instructor, has her 200-hr YTT certification from the Body Art Barn, and is a Biology and Life Science teacher. Her passion for teaching and inspiring others is infectious! Upon meeting her, you'll find that at the core of her being, Janesa is a fitness enthusiast who likes to work hard AND play hard! She is committed to seeing you break through your perceived limitations, while honoring your body’s integrity.

Nicole Jackson

Nicole is the founder of FitCycology and a Madd Dogg Athletics certified STAR 2 Spinning Instructor. She holds several certifications in the fitness industry, including the National Academy of Sports Medicine as certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Specialist. Cycling is her passion and it shows in every class! Nicole is motivated to help every client reach their full potential, so prepare to sweat, smile, and reach for your inner athlete. With a love for hip-hop, R&B, and techno, expect a playlist with a wide variety and plenty of beat drops.

Karen Mastropietro

Karen started taking spinning classes 5 years ago and was hooked from her very first class! She became a certified Mad Dogg Athletics Instructor 2 years ago. She knows how much a great ride can reduce stress and provide the perspective you need to take on new challenges. Karen strives to make every ride challenging, motivating, and most important, FUN! When Karen is not on the bike, she is enjoying life with her husband and two daughters. In her free time, she likes to hike the gorgeous Hudson Valley and try new restaurants and breweries. Upon meeting Karen, you’ll find she exudes positive and enthusiastic energy!

Lisa Switzer

Lisa is a certified Madd Dogg Athletics Spinning Instructor. She's a registered nurse by profession, but is always happiest when riding a bike! Outdoor, long distance cycling is her passion, and it certainly shines through in her cycling class instruction! Lisa loves teaching indoor cycling because it gives her the opportunity to share her passion with a group of like-minded people, who are willing to work hard to get/stay healthy and fit. Her rides are challenging, motivating, and filled with LOVE; “I love to see people happy and succeeding. Life is a journey, not a competition.”

Danny Valentin

Danny is a Madd Dogg Athletics certified STAR 2 Spinning Instructor and a high school English teacher by trade. He approaches his cycle classes in the same vein that he approaches his students at school: Work HARD and SMART! The moment you meet Danny, you will find he is an inviting, positive, enthusiastic soul, whose passion for teaching indoor cycling is infectious! In Danny’s classes, you can expect to see a variety of endurance, strength, fartlek, and interval profiles; as well as be motivated and inspired to reach for your personal best! Off the bike, you will see him walking around Goose Pond with his pug, his nose inside a book, or seeking out new adventures--near or far!
