Janesa is a certified Mad Dogg Athletics Instructor, has her 200-hr YTT certification from the Body Art Barn, and is a Biology and Life Science teacher. Her passion for teaching and inspiring others is infectious! Upon meeting her, you'll find that at the core of her being, Janesa is a fitness enthusiast who likes to work hard AND play hard! She is committed to seeing you break through your perceived limitations, while honoring your body’s integrity.
Tarin began cycling when her father asked her to join him on the Tour de Goshen; from that first ride, she was hooked! Tarin already had a strong foundation built in fitness industry as a Interactive Fitness Trainers of America (IFTA) Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, so adding her IFTA Cycling certification came naturally. Tarin loves to encourage her riders to work hard and enjoy the ride! When she is not at the cycling studio, she can be found teaching yoga, hiking, or being a road warrior with outdoor running or cycling. She also carries certifications from Kettlebell Concepts and is an RYT 200 through YogaFit.
Nicole is the founder of FitCycology and a Madd Dogg Athletics certified STAR 2 Spinning Instructor. She holds several certifications in the fitness industry, including the National Academy of Sports Medicine as certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Specialist. Cycling is her passion and it shows in every class! Nicole is motivated to help every client reach their full potential, so prepare to sweat, smile, and reach for your inner athlete. With a love for hip-hop, R&B, and techno, expect a playlist with a wide variety and plenty of beat drops.
Karen is the General Manager and Instructor at FitCycology. She started taking spinning classes 5 years ago and was hooked from her very first class! She became a certified Mad Dogg Athletics Instructor 2 years ago. She knows how much a great ride can reduce stress and provide the perspective you need to take on new challenges. Karen strives to make every ride challenging, motivating, and most important, FUN! When Karen is not on the bike, she is enjoying life with her husband and two daughters. In her free time, she likes to hike the gorgeous Hudson Valley and try new restaurants and breweries. Upon meeting Karen, you’ll find she exudes positive and enthusiastic energy!
Peggy is a certified Madd Dogg Athletics Spinning Instructor. Additionally, she holds many fitness-related certifications, including AFAA Personal Trainer, TRX Instructor, and POUND Rockout Instructor. She also has group exercise instruction experience that includes bootcamp, circuits, HIIT, and strength training. Needless to say, she’s a fitness enthusiast—so much so that she chose to make her passion her profession for over 10 years now! Peggy believes that being “fit” is attained with a perfect balance of cardio endurance and strength. Her group workouts are interval based, which allows each individual to work at his/her own level while still feeling challenged. When she’s not busy training or teaching, Peggy enjoys running as well as spending time out and about with friends. Upon meeting Peggy, you’ll find she’s not only very passionate about fitness, but she’s eager to share that passion and enthusiasm with all she meets!
Colleen is a certified Madd Dogg Athletics Spinning Instructor. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Personal Trainer and an AFAA Group Exercise Instructor. Colleen has a true passion for fitness, which shines through her classes. Her rides are physically and mentally challenging, ensuring that you are always working to your true potential: “Ride where you are today to be stronger for tomorrow.”
Lisa is a certified Madd Dogg Athletics Spinning Instructor. She's a registered nurse by profession, but is always happiest when riding a bike! Outdoor, long distance cycling is her passion, and it certainly shines through in her cycling class instruction! Lisa loves teaching indoor cycling because it gives her the opportunity to share her passion with a group of like-minded people, who are willing to work hard to get/stay healthy and fit. Her rides are challenging, motivating, and filled with LOVE; “I love to see people happy and succeeding. Life is a journey, not a competition.”
Lis is a certified AFAA Group Exercise Instructor and a Health teacher. Her group exercise teaching experience includes boot camp, cycling, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), strength, and yoga. When she’s not teaching, Lis enjoys triathlon training, so her cycling workouts are integral for her own personal best. Her cycling workouts include interval training—both short bursts and those longer in duration—to build endurance and strength. Be ready for classic rock, contemporary music, and myriad other genres in between!
Danny is a Madd Dogg Athletics certified STAR 2 Spinning Instructor and a high school English teacher by trade. He approaches his cycle classes in the same vein that he approaches his students at school: Work HARD and SMART! The moment you meet Danny, you will find he is an inviting, positive, enthusiastic soul, whose passion for teaching indoor cycling is infectious! In Danny’s classes, you can expect to see a variety of endurance, strength, fartlek, and interval profiles; as well as be motivated and inspired to reach for your personal best! Off the bike, you will see him walking around Goose Pond with his pug, his nose inside a book, or seeking out new adventures--near or far!
